The committee is currently organising the 2009 tour to Holland. This will take place during the August Bank Holiday weekend. To secure your place, please contact Judy or Hazel who will give you more details and a reply slip. They will also need your deposit of £30 per person by 16 December. You can pay by cash or cheque payable to "Charnwood Concert Bands."

JULY 2008

Both bands had a great time at the Royal Show on 6th July. It promised to be a very soggy day, but the Intermediate Band was able to chase the clouds away as it opened the programme of music from Concert Band and from the City of Birmingham Brass Band.

Congratulations to Judy Nicol, who successfully completed the Race for Life in June and raised over £200 for Cancer Research UK. Did you know that £200 will buy 4000 microscope slides for use in the study of cancer cells?
